Reebok
In 1895 Joseph William Foster, the British craftsman created the first handmade running spiked shoes. These innovative sneakers became famous and the official supplier of the Olympic games in Paris in 1924. Years later, in 1960, Foster's sons decided to create a subsidiary to continue the activity and called it Reebok. The name comes from the South African pronunciation “rhebok”, fast gazelle, which stylised head is the symbol of the brand.
